That turns out not to be the case.
I use a Linux desktop as my "daily driver", and there's only
one reason that I "need" to bring up the Windows 11 Pro for Workstations
virtual machine: reading a particular book on Kindle, which can't
be read with the Kindle web site.
I do all my banking, shopping, etc. on Linux, where it's safer.
