I have to say though, the hype over W10 ending is really
overblown.  W11 is essentially W10 with an even stupider
interface.  Install Open Shell on it and you won't be able
to tell the difference, unless you deliberately go looking
for it.  All your programs should still work.  With Open
Shell installed, there is really very little new to learn.

Yeah, well, to use any OS effectively requires skills.  There's
nothing so unique about Winblows being easy to use, it's based upon
what one is doing with it, whether they get into PowerShell and such.
Is there more that requires the terminal with Linux?  Yes.  But if you
want a simple machine, Web/email/office, Linux is easy as pie.

  I do many things online, but it is cool that I can use my favorite
NNTP client (Forte Agent) made for Windows, with Wine.
