A "new" or "fresh" kernel is indicated by an increment of the major
number X: 6.X.0, i.e. the next "new" kernel will be 6.16.0.
Note that the intial number "6" has no significance. It is incremented
whenever Torvalds runs out of fingers, toes, and other appendages with
which to count the major releases.
