Never heard it but it is true! Ark, I also see isfisketält (ice fishing tent) which is what I would say. When my father was a child his father had one of those I think, with ice skate blades on it, so it was very easy to push out on the ice.

This is the truth! During autumn they start to disappear. Then you can sit outside all night without any mosquitoes, very nice for fishingand just general camping!

The Minnewaska House had excellent meals and you could still eat the pike.
Looking out the windows at the shacks was as close as I wanted to get.

Pike is a very nice fish for cooking! Another advantage with winter is that there are no ticks! =D
