The left are just as religious in a secular sort of way. I do find it
amusing to see menopausal women all heated up about pro-choice. I don't
have a dog in the fight; neither do they.
Personally I don't want to see a Federal law either way; the issue should
be decided at the state or local level. If you don't like what the people
of the state decide, move.
Indeed. One of the reasons the USA has held together is because state legislation is quite powerful and federal more sparse.
Imagine if there was a federal law insisting that you pick up your dog's shit and put it in a shitbin, and they applied that in Montana..
