Well the main problem in MY cases is that I dont work in STL as a raw form, I work in another 3D cad format and only export the STLs as a final step to send to the slicer.You're assuming someone has already designed the sort of item you want.This is the truth! I would expect someone, somewhere to have done 90% of what I want to do. Tweaking the last 10% surely cannot be rocket science.

Most things I do are rough proof of concepts. Putting concepts into
production is usually boring.
