Anyone using MX Linux?
I have been using it for years, and recently I've noticed if you go
to close a page and don't hit the x in the upper right corner of the
page dead center, you will either minimize the page or end up
having it hang on the cursor and can move it all over the place.
I have always just shoved the mouse pointer to the upper right
corner without looking and closed the page. Not anymore.
I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if there
is a way to correct it?
I've had odd problems with MX on a HP laptop that
are related to picky pointer placement and phantom
keystrokes/touchpad moves. Tried a bunch of little
things but it still happens some. However MX is
so good I'm not going to flush it over this (and
had WORSE issues with other deb-based distros).
So, in any case, you're not crazy.
Thanks for the information.
I've noticed it only happens with some programs. With Claws Mail, when
I move the mouse pointer to the X to close, the whole box around the x
turns blue and I can click anywhere in the box and it will close, the
same when playing Freecell.
Only when using Firefox ESR do I have the problem, and I use it most of
the time.
I'm not giving up MX Linux, I'll just learn to live with it.
