While i think Modi is an effective leader people who are not in the BJP,
particularly Muslims, might not agree.
Certainly that was true in his previous terms. But if you remember, their
recent Federal election delivered a coalition Government, which I think
will restrain some of the more extreme Hindutva tendencies this time
round.
See, another of those characteristics of a good democracy is that it gives
voters a realistic choice of more than two parties to pick from. India has
managed that, where the US cannot.
