You know how they call Latin a “dead” language?
COBOL is the same.
Latin wasn't dead enough that I didn't have to take two years of it in
high school. That was then but I doubt it's the case now.
Note: it was not a Catholic high school. Catholic High certainly required
Latin so the nerds could argue over pronunciation during football games.
Church Latin is more silibant.
