Why would big money need workers when it has robots?
They won't. As robots increase, prices will decrease, initially we'll absorb that with the 6 day work week, then the 4 day work week, then the 3 day work week.
In parallel we need to up research when it comes to positive psychology, and people expectations will also adapt. I sent another post outlining some professions that will also, always be present.
This will play out over 100s of years, and eventually we'll reach the post scarcity society, which is kind of a nice economic singularity. After that, society will change a lot and we can only speculate.

You are seeing this in Russia already.  The majority of Russians are surplus to the states requirements and live in abject squalor.

The state and the oligarchs and the FSB are a mafia style organisations that used to pump gas and put the money in western banks, and fuck the peasants.
This is true. I'm not a fan of Piketty and much of his drivel is disproven, but if I remember correctly, he recycled earlier Marxist thought about the war between the classes. If the underclass gets it so bad, that they have nothing more to lose, and I'm talking dying in the street bad now, they will eventually revolt. It happened in 1917, and it will happen in russia again unless the oligarchs stop their silly war in ukraine wasting all their resources for nothing.

It's happening in the west now too.
Maybe. But, as always in the west, the speed is much, much slower, which means that there might be time to react and time for some black swans. Milei won in argentina, maybe there will be a Milei in some european country, and not only extreme left and right.

Governments create rules that stop individuals creating wealth, and leave that to the huge internationals.
This is the downfall of modern socialism, or "social democracy" as it is often called. If they get the balance right, it will exist for a fairly long time, at the price of diminished growth and declining quality of life. The problem is that it will be so slow that the masses won't react. If they get the balance wrong, it creates a great opportunity for the extreme left and the extreme right, as we are now seeing in germany for instance and italy.
In sweden, it has not yet become that serious, and that is why the sweden democrats are hoovering around 20%, passively supporting the current center government (and they are not right, regardless of what you read in european newspapers. They are more similar to the left side of the US democrats).

The individuals fight back by electing Trump, but is he really a saviour - or just another carpetbagger?
We'll see tomorrow. I'm praying hard for Trump. After he gets elected, it's up to him. If he wastes the next 4 years, the US is lost, and probably Ukraine will fall as well, and then we'll have a nice little european war on our hands once Putin has reloaded his guns for a while.
