No. Russia does not have HUGE resources.
Its economy is about the size of Italy's.
It is already in total stagflation, with interest rates over 20%.
20% of GDP is going on a war which it isn't winning.
Even Russian economist are warning that total economic collapse is threatening.
Putin is going all-in to convince the West that 'Russia cant lose' At a cost of 1500 casualties a day.

 This is the truth! Not only is the economy of EU 15x and the population 3x, as more people are killed in russia, and more brains leave the country, the only thing they have (oil and wood) will soon remain in the ground.
 A proof of this is to look at Venezuela. One of the most oil rich countries in the world.
 What happens when the brains leave and the economy collapses? The oil remains in the ground.
 I suspect that in 3-5 years russia will suddenly collapse economically, just as it did when the soviet era ended.

 Also note that NK have no inherent interest in sending people to die in Ukraine. Only if they are paid for it and if it looks are if they won't be punished, will they continue. As soon as the house of cards starts to fall, they will be the first one to get out of there.

Are you sure? There was a hueg wave of brain drain last time they tried to draft, but I would not be surprised if they try it one more time. I've met some nice russians in my local bar a year ago who speedily left St Petersburg as soon as the military started to draft youngsters.
