I don't think you have any idea of what hard work is, with respect.
Spending 8 hours a day including 3 hours of coffee and lunch breaks doens't compare with digging up ten tons of soil and wheel barrowing it to a donkey cart to build a Roman road.
The real slackers were hunter gatherers, and herders. Doesnt take much to look after a herd of goats, and keep the wolves off.
