If it is that small, the deer must be popping up behind every stick and stone!
When I go to my country house, there's plenty of deer, and I've started to see fox coming back, and I've seen a mink once. Fortunately no bears yet, but the southern most one I heard of was only 70 km north, so I guess it is just a matter of time.

There's a whole program aimed at discouraging bears.

Honey is the key! Small jars of honey placed in strategic locations and they'll focus on eating instead of roaming. ;)

That's one of the problems with having a lot of deer; cats love a nice
