..Except mine doesn't. Since it is never written to. They key is to eliminate all writes to the SD card apart from unavoidable config changes. Stop logging or send it to a ram disk. If you need scratch files put those on ramdisk too.

This is good advice, and I did follow some random tutorial a long time ago, but since I reinstall I am certain those changes are no longer active. Good point and thank you for the reminder! I will have to redo the minimization of all logging!
