Gotta FIND 'em though - eBay sometimes advertises a stash.
They are no longer labeled Svetlana but I believe some audio tubes are
still manufactured in Russia.

Oh... those are made in the USA.
'Were' afaik. We did quite a bit of contract work for the GTE Sylvania
lighting division in the '70s, but GTE started selling off visions in the
early '80s and no longer exists as a company. I think the Sylvania brand
name was sold and may be around.
Another US success story. We got the contracts because the heavily
unionized plant in Massachusetts couldn't make anything at a profit.
Almost every company I was involved with in the '70s and '80s is dead and
gone.
