jump companies often, even jump job types.
I never went looking for a career. My eyes would glaze over when potential
employers would start talking about pension plans and so forth. It was
always about the next challenge.
I slowed down in my 50s, found a place I wanted to stay, and was lucky
enough to find a job that required frequent new interfaces and gave me the
latitude for my skunk works projects.
It's been interesting but I guess I'm not going to get a gold watch.
