I agree about Poettering but great thing about GNU/Linux distributions is that you
do not have to use softwarer you don't like.  Also KDE is painful for the users as they
are apt to produce the next version before the full system has been worked out.
But I started with the AmigaOS and KDE lets me come close to the same workflow.
