But also VSI didn't really address the ecosystem as the complex set it is, with totally different needs and paces of evolution.
So they didn't reassure a lot of actors about the way they can wait the moment they will be able to change. "If the only issue is going as soon as possible to x86, because I cannot now, I'll go away".
It is very important VSI realize now how to reassure Alpha or Itanium users (they have extended their support). They would have do it from the beginning.
