WHERE IN THE WORLD DO I GET THIS STUFF?
Google leads me around and around. I've created VMSware accounts, Broadcom accounts, gawd only knows where account, etc. I still don't have this software to download and run this VMS X86.

Before the Broadcom acquisition the VMware website wasn't great
either, in my experience, but at least I could find some things
(also the case for the Spring developer certification courses)...
On that note, it would be good if eventually VSI also provides
support for other (Linux) virtualization hypervisors/solutions
(like e.g. KVM).
KVM is supported, as is Virtualbox
Installed Virtualbox.
In the "Virtual machine Name and Operating System" window I entered:
Name: OpenVMS
Folder: /home/vaxman/Virtualbox VMs
ISO Image: /home/vaxman/OpenVMS/X860923OE.ISO
Type: Other
Version: Other/Unknown
I get:
OS type cannnot be determined from the selected ISO, the guest OS will need to be installed manually.
Now, if only I could find manual installation instructions... :(
