 That was not a reason for what LibreSSL did.

Nor was it the reason 30 years ago when I tried repeatedly to feed my VMS changes back to GNU sed and GNU grep. They clearly were not interested in my changes, as they initially declined, then later ignored, my attempts, and I eventually stopped trying.
