Does anyone have experience with an ambassador license?  I already am an
expert of application development and base operating systems, etc.
I have a community license with the OpenVMS x86 package but Alpha and IA64
are no longer available but they are only available under Ambassador
license.  I think that community license is for beginners and students. I
learned something from comp.os.vms that said the community license does not
have a PCSI/VMSINSTALL (@sys$update:vmsinstal) kit.
The way forward with the CLP (Community License Program) is a yearly update of a VMK image that is usable in VMware, and with a bit of manipulation KVM and VirtualBox.  Some are trying to get VSI to make the update more frequent, but nothing has been changed as of yet.  Since Alpha and Integrity are the past for VSI, the CLP kit is only for the future x86 systems.  Alpha and Integrity are still available if you join the Ambassador program (and I believe the ISP program)

If so, I will apply for ambassador license soon.

You should.  I did and the accepted me.

Thanks,
Tim
If you have not, then you should join the VSI Forum at https://forum.vmssoftware.com/index.php
