Wouldn't it be lovely, if the modern Eiffel OO programming language

It is just that logical and easy!

If my failing memory serves me, they dropped formal support for VMS
about a decade ago, but references to VMS are all through their
documents.
VAX/VMS, AXP/VMS, could be easily resurrected, and VSI/VMS support
easily implemented...
I fear that Team Eiffel don't even know that VSI exists, or that VMS
has a future.
Perhaps the Eiffel Team could be invited, or sponsored, to present at
the VSI boot camp in Malmo, Sweden, in may 2025?
I have no interest in Eiffel, but more language options
are always better!
So if the Eiffel project / Eiffel Software wants to port Eiffel
to VMS, then I say great. If Eiffel project / Eiffel Software wants
to attend any VSI meeting, then I would expect VSI to welcome them.
If some in the VMS open source community wants to grab the
Eiffel source code and port it to VMS, then I say great.
But if the proposal is to have VSI spend time supporting such
a port, then I say bad priority. Eiffel may have many great
characteristics (I don't know it), but it is not a widely used
language in the industry. There are other languages where work
could have a bigger positive impact on VMS. Improving PHP port,
port .NET and C#, port Go etc..
