Not that old. I am 70 and so I was programming before SNA was announced, but I guess many over 40 worked with SNA over HDLC, Token Ring an Bus+Tag channels.I wonder how old you have to be to recognise any of the above these days ? :-)

There is still a UUCP network. It runs over the internet rather than
the phone system but it runs the UUCP protocol.
