Your expectations are way too high. Last year I put new brake
shoes on my camper. I then took it for inspection. A distance
of about 5 miles. The inspector told me when he was done that
I was OK but I would need new brakes before next years inspection.
And charged me $150 for the 15 minutes the inspection took.
I am sure there are plenty of "auditors" out there of similar
capabilities. Picking the right auditor is just part of your
due diligence. No, I am not taking my camper to that place again.
I was a tested and qualified "auditor" (not the term that was used)
when I was with DISA. One had to attend training and pass a test
for every type of system they wanted to be qualified on. DISA's
checklist for VMS (when they actually had one and cared) included
DECNET.
