 (I actually do have some TDS code somewhere that I could test with,

Thanks Arne!  I don't actually have access to an x86 VMS server yet, we're lining up all the ducks to see what is needed to move from the current RX server to a cloud hosted x86 server.  Found Hunter's new netlib build, still trying to track down if the GSoap kits have been updated/rebuilt.
