It would be interesting to know how much effort was involved in moving
the kernel/device driver code from Alpha/Itanium to x86-64.
Any nasty surprises ? Any pleasant surprises, given the new kernel
and driver changes for x86-64 VMS ?
This port is a very good data point and it would be interesting to hear
about anything which stood out in the porting process.
Thanks,
Simon.
