I'm just not excited yet.
Lies of P 2 I'm excited about, but that's going to be a long time.

Well I bought it.  I think I played too much to refund it. I don't like it so far.
You're given a good chunk of map, and as you play over about 15 minutes it shrinks with flames filling everywhere else that damages you and will kill you.  You'll respawn close to the edge where it killed you, but minus a level.
There's way more on the map than you could do in that time and you're supposed to pick where to go based on some not very intuitive icons (somewhat if you've played ER) on the map.  Do you want more healing potions, a particular type of weapon (melee, ranged, magic focus) etc. go rest and level etc. Then you have to choose what item from around 3 each time you want again using up time while doing so.
I really hate time pressure, ever since Fallout 1 so this is really bad for me.  I've pretty much given up on doing all that and just following around the other players.
When you die to one of the bosses and aren't revived, or everyone goes down at the same time, your run is over, so you start almost back at square one.  You get some relics you can equip to different characters.
The bosses usually have a bunch of mobs with them too and it gets pretty crazy and feeling overwhelmed.
Knowing the dodge timing of some of the bosses and mobs from ER is really useful, so I can only imagine how bad this would be without that for someone new.
It really just feels like it's a 45 minute runback to a boss every time you want to try again.
There's only one magic character, and she's the glass half of a glass cannon, so not very good, and that's my favorite type in the previous games, so a strike there.
With enough play perhaps I can get used to it, but I'm not enjoying it now.
I was enjoying Tiny Tina's Wonderland far more that I just started and the Tainted Grail demo, and don't feel like subjecting myself to it anymore.  Maybe I'll give it another try later, but probably not.
One Star.  I'd call this a strong recommend against this, and should've listened to the low score.  I could see someone who likes fast paced, no time to stop or think and very very hard ER type combat enjoying this. There's obviously people who do, but so far I'm not one of them.
