Why do I do this to myself? Nobody reads these things and they're so

Well, I read it, but really, I'm generally not interested in a bunch of random games that just happen to (maybe) be coming out shortly. Unless there's something particularly interesting about them, I'd rather see a "What's new last month" list once they have some reviews.
-------------------
* Cats Away (July 10)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3389020/Cats_Away/
Cat-pirates on the high seas. They call it a real-time
strategy game but it looks more action than strategy.
Ehn.
This looks possibly interesting based on the trailer's combat. I'm not sure about the cats and anime people though.
* Day of the Shell (July 29)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3008340/Day_of_the_Shell/
"Day of the Shell is a “one-click, one-turn” tactical
rogue-lite. In a shattered and flooded world, travel from
island to island with only hope and a revolver, challenging
and appeasing the gods." Meh.
Even after watching the trailer I'm still not sure what "“one-click, one-turn” tactical rogue-lite." is. It doesn't look great?
* Edens Zero (July 15)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3125750/EDENS_ZERO/
"This is a 3D action role-playing game based on the space
fantasy comic/anime EDENS ZERO... The player controls a
diverse cast of characters... across different planets"
Meh.
Well, a new anime to watch I guess, if I can find it *shrug*. The idea sounds interesting, but the trailer just looked meh.
* Red Pistol (July 15)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3213790/Red_Pistol/
A bullet hell shooter with a Western theme. Featuring retro
graphics, zombies, a skill card system and procedurally
generated levels. I think I'll pass.
Reminds me of a certain arcade game, Wild Western maybe? Something to keep an eye on perhaps.
* Tales of the Shire (July 29)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2016460/Tales_of_the_Shire_A_The_Lord_of_The_Rings_Game/
Pretend your a hobbit in what looks to be a Lord of the
Rings themed Stardew Valley clone (albeit with nicer
graphics). I hate that I'll probably end up buying this
Why would you end up buying this? It looks horribly boring. But then you do like walking sims.
* Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (July 24)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2277560/WUCHANG_Fallen_Feathers/
A third-person action RPG; think "Dark Souls" except budget
and set in magical ancient China.
I saw this mentioned on one of the souls reddits. Doesn't look particularly interesting, but I keep my pulse on souls hubbub, so if it gets popular, I'll probably get it eventually. Though there's so many souls games these days I can't keep up with them, and I definitely need breaks from souls games. So it would have to be what people say is REALLY good to compete with the other ones.
That's 24 new games of note coming out this month. How many are
(eventually) going to end up in your video-game library, do you think?
0-3, unless they come up as giveaways or have glowing reviews, it's probably going to be 0.
