As for backlogs, I long ago accepted that I'm highly unlikely to ever
work my way through my entire backlog of games. I shall continue to
buy new games without ever worrying about what I haven't yet played,
otherwise I will never buy another game!
I also long ago accepted that at least part of the attraction of games
to me personally is the pleasure of owning them (renting a licence)
and the pleasure of knowing that I can play them whenever I wish. Or
maybe just installing them *yet again* just to uninstall them to make
way for other games.
