Ho-ho-ho!
Christmas Day is in full swing. We're all settled down now; the
initial excitement has dampened a bit as the first gifts have been
opened. But there's a comfortable happiness as we sit with friends and
family, knowing there's so much more to come. Have a nice warm cup of
tea (or coffee, if that's your poison), lean back, and reach for
another present to open.
Say, that silver box looks sort of intriguing.
* Wolfenstein: Youngblood
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1056960/Wolfenstein_Youngblood/ "Youngblood" got a bit of a bad rap when it released, but
unfairly so, I think. No, it's not the best game in the 6GKHK
franchise, but when you're facing off against the likes of
"Return to Castle Wolfenstein", it's hard to come out on top.
It's biggest sins were that it tried to shoehorn in an 80CA6
optional cooperative mode into the single-player game, and
that it really didn't do too much to expand the franchise.
But the boom-shooting was fun, the story was wild, and, B6GAZ
c'mon, are you really going to skip a chance to shoot Nazis?
It's a good-not-great game that's just darn fun. Christmas!
Settle in, enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, and smile at the thought of
a good day to come. We'll all meet here again in an hour for the next
game, shall we?
