Well, let's see. There was the recent server failure where the host of
a bunch of NFT images went down and people were no longer able to
access the pig-pictures (or whatever butt-ugly 'art' they'd bought)
that they'd purchased. The server was later restored, but it proved
how ephemerally valueless NFTs are; you don't own the JPG, have no
control over the hosting, anybody (or anything) can make it disappear
and you have no control over it. Knowing that, it makes you wonder why
anybody would pay thousands of dollars for the things.



Meanwhile, people who bought Nike NFTs are suing Nike for not properly
supporting their NFTs. Basically, back when NFTs were the 'new
hotness', Nike issued some NFTs. When it turned out that they were a
slimey pyramid scheme and that no sensible business should be involved
with NFTs, Nike started winding down their NFT operations. Obviously,
this caused the remaining Nike NFTs to plunge in value

    [wait, shouldn't they have gone up in value, if they were
     suddenly more rare? It's almost like NFTs don't have any
     intrinsic value and are only a method of suckering in new
     users who don't understand the value. Huh. Imagine that]

Anyway, the people who bought the NFTs saw their stupid sneaker-pics
suddenly become worth nothing, and are suing Nike for not doubling
down on the scheme so they could remain rich. Gee, I'm sure that won't
make companies give second thoughts to entering the NFT market in the
future. "You have to keep supporting this forever or we'll SUE you!"



Meanwhile meanwhile, numerous NFT marketplaces are shutting down
because, surprise surprise, people don't care about the damn things
and even _hosting_ a bunch of tiny JPGs is no longer profitable. X2Y2,
thge third-largest NFT marketplace, just pulled stakes in the end of
April, and it's not the first to do so.



So things are looking bright on the NFT front! Buy now. New SpallsCoin
