- The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe.
Probably spent 2-3 days. Saw a ton of different endings and routes, but
I forgot completely about it once the weekend was over.

I love Stanley. It's a funny game and the forethought of the
developers was quite impressive... but it's a one-trick pony, really.
After you've gone through it once, and then maybe doubled back a few
times to see how the alternatives work, it's got nothing to keep you
coming back.

In many ways it reminds me of "Exit 8"; a cool concept that on its own
is quite impressive, but it's not really enough to carry an entire
game. I wish more developers would learn from games like that and use
its ideas to flesh out their own creations, but in some ways it feels
more like a tech demo than a stand-alone piece.

April won't be much better TBH, my head is more focused on photography
right now. Getting a full frame DSLR body or developing 35mm film on my
own sound like better investments than a Shitendo Switch 2 (Yes, I'm
pretty angry about the prices).

Getting angry seems silly. The hardware (and software) is always
overpriced, especially at launch. Just wait a few months or a year and
you'll get it on discount. Marketing always pushes FOMO (fear of
missing out) to make you think you Must Get It Now!!!! when the prices
are high, but --especially nowadays-- there's no reason to rush. It's
not like in the late 90s/early 2000s, when some games might literally
have a shelf-life of only a few months before disappearing forever*.
Today, you can buy games from decades ago with as much ease (possibly
more, even!) as the newest titles

Besides, by waiting a year, you can ensure that the Switch 2 actually
has legs. Sure, what with the success of the first Switch, in many
ways it is proven formula (and from Nintendo to boot), so it's
unlikely that it won't get many games. But then again... Wii U anyone?
