Is anyone else going to get it?
So watched most of a 2 hour stream recording of it by UpIsNotJump. I love his _blank_ is a Nightmare stuff, but he's not a good streamer. Anyway I got to see enough of it. Initially I was thinking "ooh, that looks good, I might want to pick that up." But by the end it was a more cautious "I'll wait to see if they fix things."
Graphically it looks very good, and while normally I don't care much about that, I do remember one of my complaints with the original was the horrific uncanny valley of faces, which is mostly gone, though the eye and mouth movements are still weird and distracting.
It also stuttered a lot, and was echoed by his readings of what his watchers were commenting. It also seemed still fairly buggy in typical Bethesda fashion. Once getting a visual bug where he had a 'bow-shield' and another time getting stuck in some roots in a cave.
I didn't see anything that indicates it's got any souls type combat in it, it seemed pretty much the same as it was, or Skyrim (which would still be an improvement) from what I could tell.
