Apparently, Nvidia ported their GeForce Now streaming service to Steam Deck. So now all those games you can't play on Steam Deck because of compatibility (usually DRM) issues, now you can through streaming. So that's neat.
It does feel a bit weird, though, since Steam Deck uses an AMD chipset, which is in direct competition to Nvidia. It just encourages more people to buy devices that aren't using Nvidia hardware. Then again, the GeForce Now back end /does/ use Nvidia GPUs, so I guess GeForce Now subscriptions are just a round-about way to get people to pay for more Nvidia cards.
As a service, I like GeForce Now (albeit not enough that it's something I'd ever pay for). It works surprisingly well on even the oldest hardware. It's not perfect; you can feel the tiniest bit of input-lag at times, and with underpowered hardware you might see some pixelation. Then again, that underpowered hardware is probably attached to a tiny display where the pixelation is less noticeable anyway. The Steam Deck platform, not being underpowered, is probably a good match for the service.
