X is but a shadow of the epic flame wars and irreverance of classic
Usenet. Less intelligent too.

Plus, though some classic Usenet users did, many did not take the age of
flame wars seriously. There was often a sense of humor, as evidenced in
this vintage document (okay, this is alt hierarchy and binaries focused,
but still funny).
