Spalls has been here since at least 2000 by looking through the archive, wouldn't surprise me if it were earlier, and he's been here ever since except for a (year?) long hiatus a year or so ago.
My first post in rec.games.frp.dnd was 1997 (under my legal name.) I joined this group much later, I used to frequent comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.rpg before .action, but that's been mostly dead for a long time. I was on Fidonet before Usenet for a couple years at least through a local BBS.
I never left Usenet since 1997, though I didn't post much for quite awhile because of csipgr and rgfd being mostly dead and hadn't discovered csipga yet.
