I realized after-the-fact that these games are both repeats on Amazon.
"Dreadout 2" was first offered as a freebie via Amazon's service back
in October 2024; "Projection: First Light" in June 2024.
This trend of offering duplicate games is a rather unsettling move
that that Amazon is making (we saw something similar with the 2 April
games). It would be one thing if I were getting duplicate keys or the
games were available on other services, but that's not what is
happening here. They are the same games being made available only
through Amazon's own client. This is troubling since I am actually
PAYING (albeit indirectly) for these games but I'm not getting a
second copy. You don't even get a key to give to somebody else.
I mean, if I actually cared about Amazon's Game service, this would be
really annoying. But I'm sure there's something in the EULA that
protects Amazon, though.
