Is there some way to get alcohol extract out of ground spice that's

I'd run it through a coffee filter, then dry the residue in a very low oven with the door propped
open,
Thanks, I've just been leaving it alone and it has finally started to settle fairly well, the actual spice part is down to about 1/3 of the jar. It was about 1/4th when it was dry so that's not too bad. I'll probably give it another week or however long it is until I have a craving for pumpkin spice. I just panicked.
Sadly no one answered my post in rec.food.cooking even though they're about 10x more busy, though probably 9/10ths of it is calling each other names, politics and dick jokes, etc. In other words, Usenet as I used to know it.
