I assume you mean retroactively. There's no respect here from Sony.
They saw their game was popular, and decided to try and leverage that
popularity into getting their network a bigger marketshare. It's all
about what is good for Sony; it has nothing to do with benefitting the
customers.
I'd love it if Valve started offering all Helldiver 2 players the
ability to return/refund the game, no matter how long it has been
since they purchased it, since this seems a fairly significant change
to the requirements box.
