Did I do a CRAP poll last month? I think I forgot to do one! Does that
mean I have to do two this month? What is the protocol for this sort
of situation? ;-)

This time, here's a simple question:

You're a PC gamer, cool. But what hardware are you playing those PC
games on?

b) A Laptop: Portability is the key; modern laptops have
enough horsepower to play most modern games (even if
you maybe gotta turn the settings down from ultra)
and you can take it with you wherever. Best of both
worlds, baby!

I use a thinkpad laptop for basically everything, I /really/ don't like
my stuff being fragmented and I can always plug a laptop into a monitor,
but I can't take a tower with me.
I've considered going laptop. Apparently modern-day docks for laptops
are quite capable these days and you can plug all sorts of things into
them... some of them even allow you to hook up an external GPU. The
idea of having a single PC with all the capability of my tower
-multiple hard-drives, external keyboard and mouse, multiple monitors-
coupled with a unit I can (should I have the need) sling underneath my
arm when I walk out the door isn't without appeal. I'd almost never
use it for its portability... but having that as an option could be
useful at times.
Still, I just love me a big ol' tower. They're so much more fun to
upgrade. Want a new CPU? Motherboard? Power supply? Just unscrew a few
things and jam in the new component. It's not quite as easy with a
laptop. Too many of the parts are proprietary, and once your model is
out of service, good luck finding replacements (much less upgrades).
