I am confused as to which client you mean: Amazon's or GOGs? Perhaps I

In any event, the Amazon client can't show you GOG games because GOG
isn't allowing Amazon to directly link accounts, likely for privacy
reasons.

It's the Amazon client, so my complaint is that in the same way that the
Amazon games website allows you to claim a GoG game by giving you a code
I'd like that also implemented in the Amazon client. I don't see why
that requires any linking of accounts.
Oh, I see what you mean now. Yeah, the Amazon client is pretty
lackluster. The only time I ever use it is if I actually want to
download/play the Amazon games. Whenever claiming the titles, though,
I go directly through the website (https://gaming.amzon.com ). Not
only does it lack linking, often entire games offered for free on the
website just don't show up at all when using the client.
But, again, this doesn't really surprise me. Unlike pretty much every
other client on the market, the Amazon client doesn't have a
storefront. That means there's no way for you to actually BUY anything
from Amazon using it. Thus, its development is very low on their
priorities; it's a cost-center, not a revenue generator. At least if
you go to the Prime Gaming website, you're only one click away from
Amazon.com and spending more money.

For the first few months I didn't even realise how it worked and naively
thought that the website and client would show the same games!
I mean, that's how it SHOULD work. At the very least, with the offers.
I can forgive the Amazon client for not showing games on
Epic/GOG/Steam that have been claimed on those clients. That an added
level of complexity that would be hard to deal with. But if your
website is showing one thing, and your client is showing another,
that's just bad design.
Then again, I don't think anyone ever accused Amazon of good web
design. Unless you're one of those six-letter Shenzhen firms whose
goods it constantly promotes whenever you look for any product.
Because is there any company as trustworthy as Zhabri or Ooxnez or
Jootoo*?
* Names picked at random... I've no idea if these are actually
companies selling on Amazon. But I wouldn't be surprised.
