I played number 3 and thought it was ok but I can't say I really enjoyed

The original Tropico still works, though it no longer runs in hardware
mode. My wife still plays it. So does Tropico 2, but that has a pirate
theme and is harder to get to run (I had to install dgVodoo2 for its
DirectX wrapper).
The original Tropico will give you a similar experience to the games you
list. Old school isometric. Highly recommended.
