 With Jason Momoa as, I don't know, some dude, and Jack Black as Steve. this trailer has absolutely nothing going for it. This trailer is a masterclass in how not to make a trailer interesting.
The most interesting bit might be Jack Black saying his character's name and the other characters being utterly unimpressed, and that was not that interesting in the first place.

My son was showing me the trailer last night, laughing at it not with it.
I don't get it, there's nothing in that trailer that would me want to watch this.    They made CGI block animals.

Actually even less than the Borderlands movie.
When did Jack Black decide to play in the worst movies?  Does he need the money that badly?  Did he get divorced recently?  Tax issues?  I can't find anything like that.  Just greed (which some of his fans have been saying since he broke up his Tenacious D tour.) and bad taste perhaps.  I loved his school of rock and he was pretty funny in the newer Jumanji movies, and Kung-Fu Panda, though I was never into Tenacious D.
