Thanks to the effort of a variety of Internet personalities (but
mostly Ross Scott) bringing to attention how damaging 'always-online'
games are to the consumer (and industry) it seems that Ubisoft is
doing an about face, and actually adding an offline mode to "The Crew
2". Sadly, it's too late to save the original (and much superior)
original game, but it's a step in the right direction. I only hope
this isn't just a one-time panacea tossed to the fans, and that we see
offline modes added into other games as well. And maybe other
developers take note too, please?

Anyway, for what it's worth, you can grab "The Crew 2" for one dollar
USD today. Even at that price, I'm not sure the game is worth it but
if you've ever wondered about it, maybe now's the time to grab it.

Not the car driving sim/game, right?
The Crew 2 is $50 at Steam with mixed reviews.
It was $1 on Ubisoft Connect (used to be Uplay client.) I did pick it up, but haven't given it a try yet. I should do that after my game pass runs out on the first.
It's back to normal price there, but the special edition is $12 there currently.
