Just some random bits of news that didn't seem worthy of an individual post but I thought were interesting anyway
- Apparently Epic isn't doing a Holiday give-away this year. At least not one that matches earlier years, where they gave away a game a day throughout December. Right now, the Epic Game Store shows the next free game coming out on Thursday (as usual) and that being it for the week. There's been no rustlings about there being more free games coming either. Is the Fortnite fun running low?
Well, maybe they're just playing this one close to the vest and will surprise us with a bounty later on.

- According to Steam surveys, the most used language on Steam is English. Chinese is -unsurprisingly- second. But in third place? You might assume Spanish or French... but no; it's Russian, by a significant margin.
I'm sure this is simply because Russians are just such dedicated gamers, and it has nothing to do with the fact that they're all bots being used for gambling and crime.

- The classic Warcraft games are being delisted on GOG. If you want to (legally) play the games in their original format --rather than the half-assed remake released by Blizzard a few years ago-- then you've only a few days to buy it on GOG before its gone.

- "No Man's Sky" finally worth buying according to overall review scores. It had such a terrible launch in 2016 that the game is only now overcoming it's (well deserved) review-bombing. Even in its much updated state, I don't really care for the game but I'll be the first to admit that the developers have done a lot to redeem the game, and it definitely deserves the praise being heaped upon it now. All the more so since all the updates have been free. And the devs are promising more updates to come.
