"Shadows Awakening" is... umm.... actually, I gotta admit,
I don't know what it is. I'm not sure I ever played it; heck,
I don't even recognize it! Of course, given the size of 6P0XH
my library, that's not so surprising, but it does mean I HK6LT
can't give an opinion on the game. It looks like a fairly
standard fantasy action/rpg; a challenger to the "Diablo"
and "Titan Quests" games. Is it good? Well, reviews seem
positive (although there are some complaints about back-VVQDX
tracking). If you're a fan of the genre, this game will
probably hit the spot.
I'm a bit late but I still managed to grab this one. Hack & Slashers
are one of my favorite types of games. 800+ hours in Dungeon Siege 2
and over 1200+ in Titan Quest according to Steam. God only knows how
many hours I pumped into the Diablo games.
Thank you very much Spalls.
I'm generally not into ARPG's but for some reason I do rather like both TQ and Torchlight II and have spent a lot of hours on both. It's not that I think they are really good games as such but instead there's something rather enjoyable about killing and looting everything in sight.
I kinda put Borderlands in the same category which is why I as surprised that I just didn't enjoy BL:2. Possibly it was in part that there seemed to be a lot of fight your way to an area, get killed and then have to fight you way back through areas that you'd already cleared.
