Holiday Give-Away? Personally, I've lost count. But it's not about the
number of days anyway; it's about the games.
Games like this one:
* Dredge

At first glance, "Dredge" seems the sort of extremely
niche game that only a handful of the most devoted could
love; an Indie fishing game with simplistic, stylized
graphics. But as you dig into it, you realize there's more
to the game than first appears; it's got the fishing, sure,
but it's got a touch of "Animal Crossing" to it, a hint
of adventure game, and oh yeah, it's got Lovecraftian
nightmares. Even though in terms of gameplay they are eons
apart in gameplay, the vaguely sinister vibe of "Dredge"
and seemingly open-ended gameplay most reminds of games
like "Sunless Skies", where the more you dig into the
worse things get for your character. I still think it's
a fairly niche game... but it's a lot less restricted than
it first appears. If you're a fan of Lovecraftian fiction,
you'll probably like this one, but it's a toss-up
otherwise.
That certainly was an unexpected game. Do you want more like this?
Let's see if this trend continues or not; there's more coming
tomorrow. Which means you've got only 24 hours to claim this one,
though. So act as fast as you think is necessary.
Ciao! A domani!
now this is interesting. I saw the game beforehand, but while I wasn't willing to spend money on it, I might be willing to play it for free.
