Glad someone's getting some use out of some of these re-gifted free games :)
I was so irritated with BG1 going really bad (to me at the time anyway) real time with pause I never could bring myself to play BG2.  I did rather enjoy the NPC party members in BG1 though, "Go for the eyes Boo!" and "Stop touching me!"  It just wasn't worth the slog to finish it.
I also remember modding* in Xena and Ash voices and pics as characters in BG2.
(*if you can call it modding since you just had to add the sound and pic file names in.)
I've always heard BG2 was even better.  One of these days maybe I'll actually get around to it.
