Complaining about free games you don't like, huh?

I admit, I'm at fault of this too. How _DARE_ Epic give us anything
except the newest and most popular triple-A games that we're all too
cheap to pay for but want anyway? Why must we SUFFER these free Indie
games that are perfectly fine pieces of entertainment software instead
of getting other, more popular games? Those fiends at Epic (or GOG, or
wherever).
Although to be fair Epic has to some degree created this situation by
raising people's expectations with previous years' give-aways. If one
year you're giving away "Grand Theft Auto 5" and "Dishonored 2" and
"Total War: Warhammer", and the next year you're handing out
hidden-object games, it shouldn't be surprising if some people squawk
in disappointment at being 'misled'.
I do try to mitigate some of my worst behavior though. But yeah, even
as I greedily claim most of these 'terrible' games Epic has the 'gall'
to foist upon us, I still feel a bit of disappointment that it wasn't
that Big Name Game I really wanted. But I also try to appreciate each
game for what it is, and like that -for whatever reason Epic is doing
it- I'm being exposed to titles I would otherwise ignore.
So forgive me a few squawks here and there. I'm only human.
