      I think it's a great title! Well, I could moan about how
      I already have it on Epic (it was a freebie offered in
      February 2020) but if you missed it back then, it's great
      that you get a second chance to acquire it now. It's a
      gorgeous game, with solid (if sometimes ruthlessly difficult)
      gameplay. There are a handful of (fairly inconsequential)
      free add-ons too, so make sure to nab those as well.

I do like it but as you say it's not like you average first person CRPG in violence is easy, indeed learning effective combat has a bit of a learning curve and I always felt that it didn't help that the controls were a bit clunky.
Saying all of that I still think it's worth giving it a try as it's really quite different to have a CRPG that is grounedd in reality and not a fantasy or sci-fi setting.
